Laura Selby

Interior Specialist, Stylist and Homeware Designer

From an early age Laura understood the importance of creating a sanctuary, and it was in her family home where she first found her love for playful interiors. Growing up Laura lived in a home filled with interesting objects and colourful wares that her parents had collected over the years from antique shops, family heirlooms and holiday keepsakes. ‘I love that everything has a memory or story behind it, it creates a space with meaning & joy.’

Laura is the creative force behind Woven Rosa and loves styling spaces, and exploring through colours and textures. Having previously worked in event styling, weddings and on TV sets she enjoyed bringing a space to life with eye-catching interiors. However it wasn’t until 2019, when Woven Rosa was born, when Laura started using her creative eye to style customers homes and source the perfect rug and homeware for their space.

As well as styling homes, Laura also styled and dressed Peru Perdu, a South American restaurant in central Manchester, for their debut opening in August 2019. She used her expertise to dress the space with colourful wall hangings and textiles to add a new energy to the eatery.

Since sourcing Peruvian homewares, Laura has started designing her own collections for Woven Rosa, with the most recent collection of tableware that she’s made with a family of ceramicists in Spain. You can see the collection here.
